Ambleside Sports takes place annually on the last Thursday in July.

Gates open at 10am with the first sports events taking place from midday. The last event of the day is around 5.50pm

Parking is available at the sports field (£5 per vehicle which does not include admission) and this can be pre-booked through our ticketing page. Disabled parking is available from main car park entrance. Personal assistants and carers require a paid ticket for entry.

Ambleside Sports is also accessible via public transport with buses 555 that run between Lancaster and Keswick and the 599 between Bowness and Grasmere stopping next to the sports field. Ask to alight at ‘Rydal Farm’.

Dogs are most welcome on leads.
