We welcome new members to the Ambleside Sports Association. Such support enables the Association to continue to provide a showcase for a wide variety of traditional local sports, helping sustain them in the local community.
Annual Membership
Membership includes
- Admission to the Ambleside Sports
- A car parking pass from the members’ car park
- An invitation to the annual AGM held at the Salutation Hotel, Ambleside.
This year, the AGM was held in March 26th 2026
If you wish to join the Association, annual membership is available for a subscription for:
- £20 for a single member
- £36 for a joint membership

Information for Life Members
Since 2023, the Sports Association has been attempting to ensure its database is accurate and up to date. Many Life Members have responded with updated and confirmed details, but unfortunately, each July we have a number of returned letters from the mail out. This is resulting in extra costs, whilst we are unable to correspond with some Members due to incorrect contact details.
This year, badges and car passes will ONLY be automatically sent to those Members who have recently ( since 2023) confirmed their contact details. If you have not yet contacted the Sports Association to update and confirm your details, and wish to receive badges and car passes for the Sports on July 30th, please contact the secretary by email at amblesidesports.secretary@
We are keen to stay in touch with all our Members and are very grateful for all the support you have given the Sports Association over the years. We hope to see many Life Members at the Sports this year.
